The quality of both our products and our team set us apart from our competition and due to internal growth we are looking to recruit Account Managers to join the teams in Johannesburg.
Key Performance Area's:
- Achieve sales/revenue targets.
- Manage hosting and collocation customer base from post-sales through the provisioning and completion process with ongoing pro-active support of each account.
- Maintain and develop existing and new customers through appropriate propositions to optimize quality of service, business growth, and customer satisfaction.
- Uncover additional customer needs and work with the client service representatives to sell additional products and services to existing base.
- Meeting deadlines and prioritizing tasks.
- Undertaking routine administrative tasks and in some cases.
- Gaining, maintaining familiarity with and keeping up with changes in the Industry
- Ensure accurate formulation and coordination of proposals.
- Provide liaison between client and operational team to ensure successful implementation of solutions sold and to ensure overall client satisfaction.
- Effectively manage client relationships by regular courtesy visits, calls and e-mails.
- Effective co-ordination and escalation of matters to relevant business units.
- To assist your manager with constructive feedback in improving service delivery and product innovation.
- Provide regular and ongoing communication to your manager on relevant issues.
- Maintain accurate forecast and activity lists/reports.
- Ensure related administration processes are completed accurately and timeously.
Job Competencies:
- Experience with virtualization and SAN technology.
- Must be innovative and have the ability to provide solutions relative to the client's objectives by identifying areas where value can be added through the use of RSAWEB's products and services.
- Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic business development environment.
- Excellent teamwork, communication and negotiation skills required to conduct business at a key decision maker's level.
- Proven track record of developing effective strategies and customized proposals that win new business.
- Excellent oral, written communication, persuasion, diplomatic and interpersonal skills, experience in research, writing and delivering marketing proposals and presentations.
- Able to work in an environment where opportunities are uncovered, screened and selected if they fit in with the company's overall strategy.
- Hard driving, 'Close the Deal' attitude will be important but must be balanced with flexibility, patience and adaptability.
- Ability to use different business development tactics to effectively overcome client objections and book meetings with prospective clients.
- Team-player, strong work ethics, ability to work with minimal supervision, result-orientated, flexible, patient and adaptable.
- Must have experience selling complex IT solutions to large corporations.
- Must be able to show a proven track record of at least 2 years, consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Must be able to demonstrate loyal employment history.
- Drive, assertiveness, quality and service orientation.
- Ownership – able to take responsibility, troubleshoot problems and be proactive
- Uncover and create new business opportunities through independent prospecting.
- Cultivate and maintain relationship with clients to develop and drive new business opportunities.
- Maintain a working knowledge of all products, services and solutions offered by RSAWEB in order to match prospective client needs with RSAWEB's solution offering.
- Able to cultivate trust and credibility with peers and maintain strong working relationships at all levels of RSAWEB.
- Represent the company at networking functions and other industry-related functions.
- Do sales presentations and pro-active reporting of progress towards attainment of targets.
- Work closely with I.T Department to ensure successful implementation of project plans and/or service delivery.
- Be responsible for Client satisfaction, managing client expectations and resolving issues.
